The customer is a US-based leading coaching institute. It would like to offer a tool to its students through which they can track the projects assigned to them.

Challenge

The customer realized the need for a robust and resilient integrated solution that could manage various tasks and can be recommended to the students. To develop such a sustainable solution without affecting their routine operations and processes was a major challenge.

The solution comprises the following features:

  • The “Item management module” handles the tasks to be undertaken and the related subtasks

  • Users can edit the information related to the item using the edit panel

  • “User management module” is to allow access to various users such as Admin, super Admin, manager, etc.

  • “Uplink module” is to uplink items to different items. For example, a user can uplink part of a daily item to a weekly item as a subtask

  • “Downlink module” is to downlink an item to a different date and different period. For example, a user can downlink a weekly item to a daily item

     

  • “Assign user module” is to assign an item (task) to a user; that user can then see that item in his parking lot

  • “Calendar module” is to add entries to the Google Calendar for specific items

  • “Private module” is to mark an item as private

  • “Duplicate module” is to create a duplicate of an item to a different date and period with the same parent item data

  • “Spear it module” is to mark an item as complete, partial, move or quit

  • Users can change the progress of items and show in UI

  • “Category module” is to manage the categories of items. To define a particular category, the user can add a category in Settings

  • The system is fully integrated with Outlook and Gmail to track the daily events
