iFour Technolab Celebrates its Foundation Day with Hackathon 2026

Ahmedabad, India

August 6, 2026

To celebrate its Foundation Day, iFour brought together 45 employees from nine teams for an AI innovation challenge on August 5. Participants developed solutions to real business problems, demonstrating how ideas from across the organization can drive meaningful change.

What if the best idea in the room was given by someone who's never written a line of code?

Hard to believe?

That's exactly what happened at iFour Technolab's Hackathon 2026, which lasted for a week – organized to honor iFour’s Foundation Day.

This wasn’t the typical hackathon where developers disappear behind their screens while everyone else watches from the sidelines.

This time, marketers, developers, sales professionals, and non-technical minds sat shoulder-to-shoulder, brainstorming problems and turning crazy ideas into working solutions.

What’s surprising was that all these projects worked flawlessly without a single glitch.

Thanks to AI, we’re now asking ourselves: is there any limit to what it can achieve?

The Real Experiment: Can Ideas Beat Expertise?

iFour Technolab, a Microsoft Solutions Partner and a well-known name in custom healthcare software development, just wrapped its in-house innovation event, Hackathon 2026.

But calling it a "hackathon" undersells what actually happened: a live test of whether the best ideas really can come from anywhere in a company - not just the engineering floor.

Three prizes. Endless possibilities.

9 teams, 45 members, went head-to-head to solve real business problems.

No pre-approved topics. No safety nets. Just a problem, 48 hours, and permission to build.

The solutions spanned healthcare, legal, food rescue, IT infrastructure, and sales. And the prize money on the line was ₹30,000, ₹20,000, and ₹10,000 for the top three.

Nine Big Solutions Announced:

Here's what the teams actually shipped:

1. PlusPhysio AI Care Coordinator - smarter coordination for physiotherapy care

2. AI-Powered Business Lead Finder - automating the hunt for new business

3. Groundwork - making any codebase instantly AI-ready

4. Smart Candidate Screening & Recruitment Automation Platform - hiring, minus the grunt work

5. QA Pilot - an AI-driven, end-to-end web testing lifecycle

6. AI-Powered: From Meetings to Winning Leads - turning conversations into pipeline

7. Project Brain - a knowledge engine in the making

8. FoodBridge - closing the gap between surplus food and a warm meal

9. Auto Infra Creation Software - infrastructure and pipelines, built automatically

Each idea had to survive more than a pitch. Teams had to defend the thinking behind it, prove it could work in practice, and answer tough questions from iFour's executive panel about relevance, execution, and real-world impact.

The Verdict Wasn't Easy

With nine genuinely strong contenders, picking winners turned into one of the hardest parts of the event.

The executive team didn't just judge the demos. They dug into the reasoning behind each solution, the depth of execution, and how much real impact it could realistically create.

Three projects ultimately took the top spots. But as Director Vinod Satapara put it:

"Innovation becomes meaningful when people are given the freedom to explore a problem, challenge conventional thinking, and actually build something around their idea. What stood out during Hackathon 2026 was not just the technology behind the projects, but the way people from different backgrounds came together and contributed their perspectives."

The Real Story: Non-Coders Changing the Conversation

Here's the twist that made this hackathon different - you didn't need to know how to code to shape the winning ideas.

iFour built the event around a simple but underused belief: understanding a customer's pain point, spotting a broken process, or knowing exactly how a solution will actually get used in the real world doesn't require a developer's toolkit. It requires paying attention.

Director Bharat Parmar summed up why that mix mattered:

"Some of the strongest discussions happened when technical and non-technical perspectives met. Developers naturally think about how something can be built, while people closer to business processes may ask why it needs to be built or how someone will actually use it. Bringing those perspectives together leads to better questions - and often better solutions."

Five Industries, One Pattern

The custom software development projects weren't random - they clustered around real friction points:

  • Healthcare - simplifying processes and improving patient experience

  • Legal - taming information-heavy workflows

  • Food - tackling accessibility and operational waste

  • IT & Sales - sharpening internal productivity and decision-making

Teams were told to think about the problem before the technology - choosing their tools based on what the challenge actually demanded, not the other way around.

Why This Matters More Than the Trophy

The prizes made headlines internally, but the real payoff, according to Director Ajay Patel, is what happens next.

"A Hackathon should not end when the winners are announced. Its real value lies in the curiosity it creates afterwards. We want our people to continue questioning processes, exploring possibilities, learning from one another, and thinking about how technology can solve practical problems."

Delivery Manager Dhaval Desai echoed that sentiment in his closing remarks:

"The projects may have been ranked, but the larger takeaway was shared across all nine teams: great ideas can come from any role, and their real potential emerges when people are encouraged to build, collaborate, experiment, and learn together. Thank you, everyone, for your contribution."

The Bigger Picture

Hackathon 2026 wasn't just an internal celebration - it was a proof point. For a company already building Azure AI cloud solutions across healthcare, legal, and fintech, the event reinforced a simple thesis: the next big idea might not come from the R&D roadmap. It might come from whoever's closest to the problem.
