iFour Technolab recently hosted a webinar, led by Dipen Gandhi, an Ex-Microsoft Security expert. This is the second webinar held by this leading Microsoft 365 development services provider, which underscores their committed focus on business security.
The webinar began in a practical and grounded way. It didn’t begin with slides or theory. Instead, the speaker opened the floor and asked participants about their day-to-day use of AI.
That simple start set the tone. People shared what they were actually doing. Some were using AI tools for basic tasks like drafting emails or creating SOPs, while others were simply trying to learn and stay relevant.
This early exchange showed one clear thing: AI is present in conversations, but real adoption is still scattered. Most businesses are experimenting, not yet structured.
As the session progressed, the main idea became clear: “Productivity and security cannot be treated separately anymore.”
The discussion focused on how Microsoft 365 tries to bring both together in one system. Collaboration, automation, and security are not add-ons - they’re built into the same ecosystem.
From iFour’s Director, Vinod Satapara, shares his view on what most businesses are struggling with today:
Companies want faster work, but they don’t want to risk their data. The challenge is not adopting AI—it’s adopting it safely.

The conversation then shifted to how work has changed after the pandemic. Remote and hybrid setups are now common.
People are working from different locations, often on personal devices. That flexibility helps productivity, but it also creates gaps in security.
Participants shared how they were handling this—using VPNs, device tracking, and policies—but it was clear that most setups are still evolving.
This led to a simple but important insight:
Work is now flexible, but control is not always keeping up. That’s where most risks begin.
When participants were asked how they use AI, the answers were varied. Some use it in development and coding, others for research or documentation.
This showed that AI is already part of everyday work—but in different ways, without a clear framework.
From a leadership lens, Bharat Parmar, Director at iFour, shares his perspective:
AI is being used everywhere, but not always in a controlled way. Without the right setup, it can create more risk than value.
One of the stronger parts of the session came when the speaker challenged a common belief—that small businesses are less likely to be attacked.
In reality, they are often easier targets. Many don’t have strong systems in place, and security is handled only after something goes wrong.
The session pushed a shift in thinking—from reacting to problems to preventing them early.
Most companies invest in security after an issue. The smarter approach is to build it in from the start.
The session then explained what Microsoft 365 really represents. It’s not just Teams or Office apps. It’s a system that combines identity, device control, and data security.
The focus stayed on integration. Instead of using multiple third-party tools, businesses can manage everything in one place.
Different plans were discussed—Business Standard, Business Premium, and E3 —showing how companies can start small and scale as they grow.
Towards the end, the session returned to AI - this time focusing on Copilot.
It was shown as an assistant inside Microsoft tools, helping with writing, analysis, and daily work tasks.
But the key message wasn’t just about features. It was about trust. Data stays within the system and isn’t used externally to train models.
This reinforced a bigger idea:
AI should not just make work easier—it should also keep business data safe.
The session ended with questions and open discussion. But the takeaway was clear and consistent.
AI is becoming part of every organization. But without the right environment, it can create risk instead of value.
From iFour leadership, this sums it up well:
The future of work is not just about speed. It’s about working fast in a way that’s controlled and secure.
In the end, the webinar wasn’t just about tools or licenses. It explained a shift in mindset.
To move forward, businesses need to think of productivity and security as one system - not separate priorities.
